A notorious French madam, whose business serves many of the nation’s most powerful individuals, plans to go international until she becomes the focus of media scrutiny. She knows too much about the dissolute mores of the French political class. She knows so much that several ministers, particularly inclined to the attendance of her call-girls, condemn her to death. Her girls, Karine, Hélène, Alexandra and Vanessa, each goes “to fulfill their mission”: to coax an Emir on his yacht in the Bahamas, to satisfy the voyeurism of a British financier, to play “do me wrong” with a crafty American or to satisfy the lesbian instincts of a Hong Kong banker. But a journalist discovers these close relations with these powerful people.
